Get a load of this new Obama ad. It's a good ad.
I'm starting to have a little problem with the firestorm of blame you just know is coming if (when) McCain-Palin loses. It'll be all about pointing the finger at Palin. And this ad seems to put the blame where it belongs — on McCain and Co.

I think we can tell a lot about Michelle Obama from her clothes.
She's unafraid to mix it up (sometimes to a sartorial fault). She puts colors together that many people, some of my favorite people included, would say "don't go."
She likes the ease and flexibility of separates in daily life. (Those beautiful knee-length ...READ MORE »
Courtesy of Don't Bet Chi (whatever that means/is), here's Michelle's outfit broken down — all of it from J. Crew. Just in case anyone out there wants to get it for themselves!
Do we know for a fact where Michelle O gets her bling? Someone somewhere likely does, but I don't.
But she's a fan of J. Crew, we do know that. Here's a lovely (large) brooch you could easily use to gussy up an ordinary dress or blouse/cardi combo, as we've seen her do so often on the ...READ MORE »
Whose jacket is this — Palin's own, or the RNC's? I'd love to know.
Yesterday, weighed in on wardrobegate on her NPR show (which I adore), Tell Me More.
Michelle O was on Leno last night, talking about clothes, kids and romance. (Am getting sick so unfortunately didn't stay up for it myself.) Check out the yellow duds. I love how she's adventurous in putting outfits together. I don't think this worked, though. She was trying to mix it up and put on a little glam ...READ MORE »
Sarah Palin apparently went casual at a campaign appearance over the weekend. Professional? No. Does she look great in jeans? Yes! Note the very long length — excellent. Same with the casually rolled-up sleeves. (But, as I've said before, with her coloring she shouldn't be wearing black.)
Thanks to P.L. for sending the picture to me.
I love Sarah Palin's new schtick: "I'm really frugal," she's been saying. Really, I do like it. It's politically smart and makes her look un-scripted.
In this video, on Huff Post, she talks about the three accessories she's wearing. First, earrings given to her by her mother-in-law, a Native Alaskan. Score one for Palin's embracing diversity. ...READ MORE »
As one blog says, you can't make this stuff up. Now the story that's breaking is that the top-paid McCain staffer in the first half of October is, yes, Sarah Palin's makeup artist. It seems Amy Strozzi, who garnered an Emmy nomination for "So You Think You Can Dance," was paid a truly unbelievable $22,800 for makeup services. You can ...READ MORE »
Gosh, we just can't get enough of this story. Cathy Horyn of the Times weighs in with this:
Here’s my problem with the whole thing: Ms. Palin isn’t taking
responsibility for something as basic as her own clothing. Others are
choosing it, others are buying it and others are explaining it.
Here's from WWD:
Palin’s style has certainly evolved ...READ MORE »
