Bright pink and orange for spring

Posted by Ketura

It’s still cold here in Washington, DC, but it’s not too early to fold one or two pieces that are new for Spring. Consider a shot of bright orange or pink to your wintery mix of denim, jacket, and ankle boot. The metallic bag brings everything into the new season, especially when it’s edged in neon yellow. (LOVE. ...READ MORE »

Valentine’s Day Look #5: Headed out with friends

Posted by Ketura

Maybe Valentine’s Day is a good excuse for a casual get-together with friends rather than a Big Fancy Dinner with a date.  Here’s a great option. (Cute sandals would work, too — but it is cold here in DC and I just can’t stand the idea of chilly toes!) Get your sexy on: Valentine’s Day Look #5 ...READ MORE »

Fun at the Frock Swap

Posted by Ketura

A bunch of women and I had a great time this past Sunday at the 3rd Annual Wardrobe Workshop Frock Swap. There were about 100 pieces of clothing, plus shoes and accessories. Women dropped off their stuff beforehand, which I arranged on racks by size. We had yummy cake pops from Baked By Yael, plus some great raffle items. (Thank you ...READ MORE »

What would you wear?* * Just to be clear, I am fully aware that in real life, a lot of people don’t do anything special for Valentine’s Day. This was my ...READ MORE »

Valentine’s Day Look #1: Fancy dinner out

Posted by Ketura

I am in love with all things red — warm, tomato reds, fuschia, pink, orange … I love all of them, and I love most of them together. Valentine’s Day, then, is a perfect excuse to play around with red and imagine some great outfits with different shades. So for the next week, I will have a few outfits ...READ MORE »

Recently I started working with a lovely client — call her Deb. She’s made several big changes in her life, and now wants to have only things in her fairly small closet that are, ...READ MORE »
