Statement necklaces for spring
I am taking a wonderful class with the fabulous teacher and image consultant Brenda Kinsel. As part of the class, there is assigned homework, and so today I spent quite a bit of time browsing for necklaces. I have always loved a fabulous necklace but was particularly taken with what I saw today. I love Anthropologie's Papaya Rind Necklace ($138 — but you can't get images from Anthropologie, sadly). I would wear it with a lot, not just stuff that matches. I also love theTerzo Aluminum Daisy Necklace ($440) at Barney's — I adore a festoon or cascade necklace, because it looks great with a high neckline or a deeper V.
And how about this Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James Triple Pendant Necklace ($400), also from Barney's? Perfect worn with an ivory T-shirt and jeans (and, of course, just the right amount of insouciance).
This Cracked Resin Necklace by Subversive Jewelry at Vivre, would make me very happy for a long time. (And it's half off the original $1800 price!)
And, not a necklace, but whatever — I love this
John Iverson Hydrangea Bracelet ($820), from my beloved Twist.
Note that you don't have to break the bank to get an "effective" necklace (one of my mom's highest compliments). For on-trend, versatile, and inexpensive options, take a look at This and this.
